Today I'm discussing CBD & Men's Health, a lot of what I'm going to cover will be for dual benefits for men and women. There's so many articles from prominent sources, all pretty much saying similar things. Today you get another opinion from moi. I will list off some articles that I think are noteworthy and you should take a look at if you haven't already. I'm not going to make this into a filler, as almost every article starts with the same things, such as what is CBD oil? is CBD legal in the UK? ETC, and you will notice those parts take up almost half of the article. I'm sure most of you are aware of the benefits of CBD, however if you aren't, then please take a look at the selected articles below to educate yourself more on the subject, or take a look at Joys Ultimate CBD Guide. Below I will be discussing my experiences with CBD use for sports activities.

Also 1 side note for men, remember to ejaculate frequently! Yes I know some of you are probably red faced now reading the previous statement. Men we have a gland that women do not, called a prostate. Several sources on numerous occasions have linked regular & frequent ejaculation as a preventative for prostate cancer. Now this isn't an excuse to go out and try to spread our seed, so to speak. You can ejaculate with a partner and have a good time, or you can do some self love time, or both, to each their own. When studies range from 33% to some as high as over 60% this is not something to be overlooked.
Now next topic, physical training/fitness, more, and more Professional Athletes are publicly acknowledging the use and promotion of CBD in their training regimens. Several studies have been discussing the anti-inflammatory properties and benefits. Professional Athletes from Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Football (Both American & European), Basketball, Boxing, Ice Hockey, Rowing, Running, etc... I will discuss my own personal experience with CBD and my physical exercises.
My main exercise routine, "When I have the time" consists of usually 3 to 5, 1 hour sessions of rowing per week, before Covid I would go to the gym for a self defense class 2 or 3 times a week, each 90 minute sessions. I would also do some strength building 3 to 4 times a week, doing push ups, pull ups, squats, and curls. Lately, since I can't go to my self defense class, I've been using a punching bag at home, not the same. :(
Usually I always end up with the same issues after rowing and the uppercut bag. After rowing, my shoulder is usually a bit sore, (This is due to an injury from my childhood, long story short I hurt my shoulder in my early teens, and it's never been the same since.) Usually I will use my home medics shiatzu massager for help and relief, sometimes I will go and have a professional massage, but the home massager helps save me a lot of time, and money. After my self defense class or going on the punching bag, my knuckles are very sore, making it sometimes difficult to hold/grip things. Now this is due to different reasons, 1 I haven't conditioned my knuckles for the way I punch, and I still have a delicate small knuckle, due to another injury during my youth. I've been starting to use the CBD salve with Lavender & Eucalyptus, directly on my hands, with great results. I've noticed within a couple of minutes, relief from the pain, and its made it easier for me to move and grip things again. Also noticed that it helps with chapped and cracked skin.
CBD oil is also great in general for relief, but sometimes I find a better result if I did a topical application, such as for my hands from being sore from hitting. CBD oil, and other Ingestibles would be more beneficial for the whole body, as with topicals are more effective in localized area/parts. I've tried the CBD Sports Cream from Joy Organics, and it works great. I don't use it often, as I'm not a fan of menthol scents. As an alternative to the CBD Sports Cream, you can use the CBD Cream Unscented, CBD Salve Stick Unscented, or the CBD salve with Lavender & Eucalyptus. For those who enjoy soaking in a bath, CBD Bath Bombs are a great idea for multiple sore spots on the body. I'm personally a shower guy, but I've tried the CBD Bath Bombs, and they do work well. They help relax the body, as normal hot baths/showers would, but with the added CBD being absorbed throughout the body helps take it up another level, comparable with magnesium bath salts. The scent/fragrance is quite pleasing and adds to the benefit of a more restful sleep later on or directly after.
Speaking of a goodnight sleep, I highly suggest you consider the CBD Softgel Capsules Curcumin formula. This is another Idea for Active people, Athletes, or people with joint pains. Curcumin, is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits, and weight management. It's been known to help relieve pain from Arthritis, osteoarthritis, and others. Take a look at this study from Harvard University. This is something you should definitely try once for yourself. You can try Curcumin on its own if you like, just find a reputable source, and try to get organic when possible. The added 25mg of CBD with Curcumin will help with sleep, and aid in the relief of some of the aches and pains, you can also take during the day time, just before a work out, or activity. I tried this a couple of times, I took 1 capsule about 40 minutes before I started to row. I did feel the difference during and after using the rowing machine. My joints were looser, I felt a bit more flexible, as my hamstrings tighten up frequently, "probably, I'm not stretching enough" for me CBD has been effective in various forms to help boost my regimen.
Any Vegetarians out there? Sorry currently the CBD Softgel Capsules aren't Vegetarian friendly, as an alternative you may consider the CBD Gummies, as they're vegan. The Vegan Gummies also come available in 2 flavours, Strawberry Lemonade, or Green Apple, both taste great. I like to get both flavours and mix them.
